Oman eVisa is an online visa implemented in 2018 by the Royal Oman Police to speed up the visa application process and enable a short stay for all eligible visitors.
There are two types of Oman eVisa - a single-entry and a multiple-entry visa.
A single-entry Oman visa allows a stay from 10 to 30 days, with a validity period of 30 days from the date of issue.
A multiple-entry visa allows stays up to 30 days, with a validity period of 365 days from the date of issue.
Applicants can visit Oman with a single-entry or a multiple-entry visa designed for various stay lengths for tourism and business purposes.

Both single-entry eVisas to the Sultanate of Oman stay valid for one month (30 days) from the issue date. Enter Oman within 30 days from the date of your online visa approval.
The multiple-entry eVisa allows each stay to be as long as 30 days and stays effective for one year from the date of its approval.

The permitted length of stay in the Sultanate of Oman for tourists with electronic entry permits differs based on the online visa type they choose. There are 10-day stays and 30-day stays available.
The online Oman visas stay valid for 30 days (one month) for both of the single-entry permits. On the contrary, the multiple-entry eVisa stays effective for a whole year and allows its holders to travel to Oman numerous times.
Travelers may apply for a new electronic visa to Oman, provided their previous entry permit has expired, and they are outside of Oman. Do not overstay without a valid online visa to avoid being fined with 10 OMR per each additional day of stay.
The online visa to Oman is not available upon arrival. Apply online for your entry permit at least 3 business days in advance of your trip to Oman to enter the country without any issues.
Unfortunately, the Immigration Office has determined that you do not meet the requirements for the Omani eVisa. In this case, you should contact the nearest embassy or consulate of Oman to apply for a traditional visa.
