Ivory Coast e-Visa Information

The Ivory Coast e-Visa (Côte d'Ivoire e-Visa) is an electronic visa that can be obtained by eligible nationalities online.

The biometric pre-enrollment program was introduced on January 2, 2014. Now, it must be completed by all travelers before their arrival on Ivory Coast.

The Ivory electronic visa allows visiting the country for tourism and business purposes. Its validity is 3 months from the date of issue; during this period, visa holders can enter the country multiple times for a total stay of 30 days.

The online application process for a visa to Ivory Coast is time-saving and consists of several steps. Applicants need to complete a form with basic information, including their passport number and travel dates. It is also required to upload the copies of the essential documents.

After that, you have to cover the fees. Make the payment using your debit/credit card, PayPal, or other option available on our website.

The confirmation of the Ivory Coast visa will be delivered as a PDF document to the applicant's email. It is necessary to print it out before boarding the plane. Apply online at least a few business days ahead of your travel.

The e-Visa to Ivory Coast is a pre-enrollment document, meaning you should still get a visa on arrival. Present proof of online visa approval and take fingerprints and face photo at the airport to obtain a visa on arrival.

IMPORTANT! Electronic visas are only supported at the Abidjan Airport. If you plan to enter Ivory Coast through another point of entry, you need a traditional visa.

  • Types of Ivory Coast e-Visa

The Ivory Coast e-Visa is available in one type only – as a multiple-entry visa with a 3-month validity period, allowing a 30-day stay in total. It can be used for the following purposes:

    • Tourism: leisure, vacation, exploring the Ivory Coast attractions, visiting friends and family members.
    • Business: attending business meetings, conferences, fairs, and various business-handling activities.

NOTE: You are not allowed to take up employment under an online visa to Ivory Coast. Contact the embassy to obtain a work visa.
