The Ivory Coast eVisa (Côte d'Ivoire eVisa) is a biometric pre-enrollment system designed to simplify travel authorizations. Rather than visiting an embassy, travelers can submit their applications through an online pre-enrollment system.
It is important to note the difference between your online approval and the final visa. When your online application is approved, you will receive an approval document via email. This document allows you to board your flight, but it is not your final visa.
Upon arrival at Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (ABJ) in Abidjan, you will undergo biometric registration, where your fingerprints will be collected.
Only after this step will the official physical visa be issued and stamped into your passport. This eVisa system is intended exclusively for short-stay travel purposes.

Yes, minors require separate authorization. The parent or guardian must follow the parent/guardian application rules to submit the request. The child must have their own passport requirements met, and they will receive separate approvals for children.
